I started building Omega Project: Infamy in the throes of COVID, watching authoritarianism walk into the daylight in real time. The game wasn't an escape from that — it was a way to sit with it. Amerius is what happens when you take that feeling and let it grow nine districts deep.
What it's built from
The mechanics are Forged in the Dark — I pulled heavily from Blades in the Dark, with Savage Worlds in the bones of the action economy. The setting owes more to 1984 and Brave New World than to a typical RPG dystopia. Some systems come directly from reality — the S3 social-credit framework is based on China's social economy.

Three crews. Ten sessions. OTGs.
OPI was developed across three playtest groups over ten sessions. Operational Training Groups — OTGs — were built to stress-test scenarios as the rulebook came together. The game in your hands is the version those crews kept showing up to play.
