Orland is a poor and depressed district with no work, no industry and poor air quality. The massive incinerators that dot the mountains of garbage power Amerius but belch thick mustard smoke that hangs in the air.
The district is often contested between three large gangs: Sailors Guild, Krafters Guild, and Lungers. The Alderman is weak and works with the power holder of the moment.
An eerie yellow fog hangs over the district from the incinerators, covering everything with a fine yellow powder. Run-down residential structures that should be condemned overflow with residents making their own improvements.
There is nothing here for no one. Factions use it for dumping, and so do the authorities.
